Projects - Laboratories & Research
State of the art research laboratories are a significant part of Burns DeLatte & McCoy's design portfolio. Clients include: Texas Children's Hospital, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and Baylor College of Medicine. Highly technical research laboratories range up to and include P3 and P4 clean room facilities. Critical backup systems design is an integral part of lab design and includes uninterruptible power supply systems, diesel powered standby back-up power systems, and emergency chilled water systems.
